Todd Clary doesn’t go around telling everyone that when he hears the number 5 he sees the color orange. With all the creative work he’s involved with who’s got time for a trip to the loony bin, right? He’s what they call a Synesthete, which is just a ten-dollar word for A Very Weird Brain and explains how, according to the party inside his head, numbers are all colored, sound has structure in three-dimensional space, textures have a taste, and nothing happens linearly. He’s an amazing cartoonist, a linguist genius, and never loses at the Two Truths And A Lie game. Ever. (If you want to take a swing at that one you’ll have to ask him yourself. He’s often hired to problem-solve branding and corporate identity snafu’s and leans into the challenge with master-level proficiency in the creative programs which happen to belie his command of left-brained processes.
